Dear Praying Friends

As we enter 2012, I look to Philippians 3.10 for my joy and challenge. “That I may know Him…” I want to KNOW Jesus more and more in 2012. There’s a growing conviction in my heart that knowing Him more and more will lead me to being more and more like Him… and that will bring glory to God, and be beneficial to everyone around me!

Update - Ministry to Migrant Workers

Joe Nesci phoned me this morning, all excited about what God is doing! While most of the migrant workers in the Toronto area have gone home, a few farms keep workers throughout the winter. Joe, along with the help of Adrian and Jessica (Word of Life co-workers) started a bible study on one of these farms. Out of 40 workers, 18 came to the first study! 12 attended the second study, and 20 showed up at the third session. What's more, 11 people have prayed to receive Christ as Saviour! Joe was quick to point out that a lot of this great stuff is due to Ryan, a recently baptized believer, who loves to invite his co-workers to the studies and to know His Saviour!

The HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL! Pray the LORD of the Harvest to send more labourers into His Harvest!

What’s Been Happening
- Our family traveled to Manitoba to celebrate Christmas with the Ginter family, and to celebrate New Years with the Silberfeld Church family – Praise God for safe travels and for excellent reconnections

What’s Happening
- Finalizing SPARK Weekend Missions Experience for EBC students – Paul Muzzin & I are preparing this event in a desire to help EBC students explore their call to cross-cultural ministry
- Developing ChurchLINK materials – this involves reworking some material from our US Sending Centre, and preparing some personalized items in an effort to expand the vision of local Canadian churches regarding cross-cultural ministries.

Thanks again for praying!

Jacob
