Lois Drake, a retired teacher from West Montrose, Ontario, is currently serving as a teacher assistant at the Evangelical Christian Academy! ECA ECA Home Page serves the educational needs of missionary families in Spain. We are SO thankful for Lois' willingness to serve in this regard. Lois and I are currently in the process of trying to extend her visitor's visa so that she can serve until the end of this school year. Please pray that this will move forward as we've been told it can!
Karen was quite surprised to see a number of friends gathered at the McNamee home on the 19th of February to celebrate her 40 magnificent years of adventure! See the February 27 journal under Prayer Updates at www.gintersinspain.org for more info and a couple of pics!
We continue preparations for the first ever prayer conference hosted by World Team Spain Field members. Please pray that we will remember all the details that need attending to. Pray for those already signed up, that their hearts (and ours!) would be prepared for a tremendous time of learning and intercession for Spain. Interested in participating? Send an email to Jacob.Ginter@WorldTeam.org and we'll walk you through it! Or, for instant info, go to Prayer Conference www.gintersinspain.org to see the brochure.
Over 100 churches in Madrid continue preparations for the Luis Palau event, "FestiMadrid," slated for June 20-25. The venue has not yet been confirmed (a request has been made for the use of "El Paseo de la Castellana," Madrid's main artery). Again, this event involves MANY details, and requires the participation of even more churches. Please pray for us.
We have received information over the last few weeks that one of Jacob's nephew's, Conrad Ginter,. has experienced significant health problems. Signs indicate that Conrad (29 years old) has experienced a stroke, due to a heart condition. Conrad's wife, Deborah, recently gave birth to their 4th child, a healthy baby girl. However, Deborah has also had complications after the delivery. Please pray for wisdom for the medics, as well as patience and peace for the family, especially for Conrad, Deborah, and their children.
thanks again for your prayers. We know that "without HIM we can do nothing."
