Dear Friends

Thanks for your ongoing prayers!

2010 World Team Spain internship
Our 6 week internship program finishes this weekend. Our interns are right now serving in Cáceres, teaching English, and participating in a BasketBall clinic outreach. It´s been a tough last week, 2 interns, and Kami, our apprentice leading the program, have been sick. In spite of all this, we are praying that some of these interns will find their way back to serving in Spain for a longer term!

Karen is off to France
As part of our team, and as the mentor of two of the interns this year, Karen will represent World Team Spain at the internship debrief in France this year. Karen leaves on Friday night (July 2) and returns on Monday (July 5). We pray that this interaction will serve well as we plan next year´s internship, and as Karen says good-bye to the girls she´s been mentoring.

Next week – Canadian team in Spain
These folks will be serving through prayer and paint! A group of Canadians from our Philipino churches in Toronto arrives July 5, and will be with us until July 12. They will experience a variety of ministries in Spain, as well as work on improvements on our team training centre ("the chalet"). I am preparing devotionals and organizing the logistics. Once again, our prayer is that these folks will return to Canada with a greater vision for missions, and an increased desire to participate long-term by giving, going, and praying!

Remember, "The effective prayer of a righteous [person] can accomplish much..." (James 5.16b) and remember that to qualify each of us to pray effectively... "[God] made [Christ] who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD in HIM!" (II Corinthians 5.21)

Thanks again for praying effectively!

Jacob
