Mobilizing Canadians Now - Jacob & Karen Ginter

Hi all!

I’ve arrived in Spain, and am enjoying this time of catching up with our team-mates and friends. I had the privilege of spending a few days with more time to myself at our team training/retreat centre, simply being alone and being with God. That was refreshing. Do pray for Karen and the girls as they continue with everyday life in Ontario. Megan especially is really missing Spain, just knowing I’m here.

Executive Brief
• Evaluation process – Personal Development Plans – Pray for us as a team, as we evaluate our progress in the vision to establish reproducing churches in Spain, and as we challenge one another to a life of continuous learning
• Article by Rick Warren – Feeling the pace of life? Read this article for some solid teaching… How to Slow Down Your Life

Evaluation Process
Part of my reason for coming to Spain this fall is to work through our team evaluations, together with Tim Tjernagel. One of the important aspects of the annual evaluation is the Personal Development Plan for each team member. I find this tool helpful as we challenge one another to continual growth. As our team transitions more to facilitative church planting, the ability to encourage others in their development partially rests on the integrity of us doing just that! Please pray for wisdom as we work together to see where God is challenging each one of us in our developmental process.

How to Slow Down!
Technology has made the world smaller, more complex, and faster. All the hurry and worry has some dramatic negative effects on our ministries. If you’re serious about slowing your life down to a more humane pace, you’re going to have to make five counter-cultural changes in your lifestyle. (Read More)

Thanks for your prayers and partnership with us! God is good. He WILL build His church and the gates of hell will NOT prevail against it! (In Canada, the USA, Spain, or ANYWHERE ELSE!!!)
