Karen completes MBTI qualification course
As part of this year’s development plan, Karen completed a course on the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) (MyersBriggs.org) this past week. This course grows Karen’s “toolbox” for service in Europe. In order to reach full certification, Karen is required to invest 20 hours in the administration and interpretation of the MBTI. Several opportunities are available for this. Please pray for wisdom as Karen moves ahead on this.
Jacob implements coaching skills
The “Core Coaching Skills” (Creative Results Management) I received in the 2nd week of November are now being applied in 2 real-life coaching settings. One of those relationships takes place in Canada and another overseas. Pray for my development in this new area of ministry. I feel that coaching played a large part in my development during the past years, and I really desire to bless others by applying these relational principles. I really desire to work with young Christian leaders to help them start new churches – wherever God has called them to start those churches!
Growing in the Gospel
Karen and I had our first session regarding the application of God’s Great Gospel in our personal and ministry lives, offered through World Harvest Mission. I can’t say that this is the most comfortable course I’ve ever taken! Pray that we will be open to the challenges given, and that we will grow deeper in love with Jesus through this process.
Thanks again for your prayers, and for your support. We are thankful for the privilege of taking this extra year to grow in order to serve more effectively.
