Dear Praying Friends

Send Out Workers

Luke 10.2b – “Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field”

An article I read recently points to our absolute dependence on God in prayer. While a strong desire to mobilize new cross-cultural workers helps me set my daily agenda, the jump off point continues to be prayer. The author of the article agreed with another like-minded friend to connect by phone each day, with a goal to pray together - "Lord of the harvest, send out more workers!" This simple prayer led to more questions on how to pray, resulted in a deeper dependence on God in prayer, ultimately leading to multiple "divine contact" with others interested in cross-cultural ministries. I resonate with that!

Lord, send more workers into the harvest!

Some will say, "I can't go... for reason xyz" Lord, send more workers into the harvest!

Some will say, "My parents don't want to see me leave." Lord, send more workers into the harvest.

Some will say, "Yes!!! I want to go!! Lord, send more workers.

The harvest IS plentiful! The labourers ARE few! Lord, Send More Workers Into Your Harvest!

Can you guess what I'm praying today?

Executive Brief

What Happened
Carly – thanks for praying for Carly. This may be an ongoing prayer, and I’d ask for prayer for us, the parents, in guiding Carly through this all
Training time in Warrington – I had a very positive time of training and development in Pennsylvania. I came away from the week with a great appreciation for all that the WT USA Sending Office does. Thanks for praying for me!

What’s Happening
Ongoing Learning and Application – one of the “joys” of my week of training was a deluge of learning material. Pray that I’ll prioritize well as I seek to integrate the books and resources into my new role in mobilization
Following up connections and contacts – one of the schools I’m working with here in Ontario (Emmanuel Bible College) has a number of individuals interested in pursuing ministry cross-culturally. My desire is to invest well and strategically, seeking to raise up more workers for our Lord’s harvest fields

Thanks again for your prayers! God is SO good! I rejoice to see how the training last week, the opportunities this week, and the growing passion in my heart confirm to me that the Ginter family is indeed RIGHT WHERE GOD WANTS US!

Blessings
Jacob
