Merry Christmas!!!

Wow, we’re almost at that time of the year again! It’s getting downright jolly around here as we get ready for some family celebration time! We wish you and yours a GREAT Christmas season as we celebrate once more the amazing truth of Christ our Savior! Emmanuel, God is with us!!

Updates from the last email…
Both last Monday (December 13) and this past Sunday (December 19) were wonderful! Although very long, both days were filled with meaningful conversation with team-mates, co-laborers in the Gospel, and individuals in training. I am so grateful for the forward movement I see as I interact with these people! It's a privilege to serve in this way, and I'm grateful for the opportunity!

It’s been GREAT integrating Ian Reed and Matt Bogart into our family routines around Christmas… they’ve seen a good part of Madrid, joined me in a long road-trip (ministry in Calatayud and Zaragoza), and also went with Megan, Carly and me to the Christmas celebration for the Immigrant Outreach program at Principe de Paz church. It’s been a joy having them with us!

Prayer items for the next 2 weeks…
Christmas is a great time to share a meaningful gift with friends and neighbors. This year we’ll be giving away a CD with music from various “Gospel Choirs” in Spain. Please pray for us… we want to be sensitive, but we want to be bold too. Jesus came for a reason… reconciling man back to God…

We look forward to enjoying the “calm before the storm…” during the holiday season. We are grateful for some down time before launching into a busy period… January sees us in various parts of Spain, and I attend a World Team Mobilization Workshop, while in February I am participating in a Coaching Workshop, among other responsibilities, while Karen has 2 MBTI Workshops to lead...

Thanks again for praying for us through 2010!

Blessings
Jacob
